All the code is pretty much public so people can just download it and keep it alive for as long as they want.

What made you decide you needed your own place instead of social media?
You cant be fully dependent on social media what if they just decide to silent you off of something stupid. Ive seen one too many cases of powerful people getting silenced on social media. My conclusion is to get acquire couple passports too
