A portfolio written the way Madani wanted to be read — first person, talking straight to whoever opens it. It came out of a pitch deck he made for a studio he wanted to work with and could not be in the room to present, so the deck had to do the talking for him. It worked; they said yes. Four days, in a bedroom in Coventry.

Gallery of Shadow is a 3 panel metal installation, suspended from the ceiling. The panels are identical in size and distance from each other and the floor. Each panel is characterized by a different image on one side, similar in style and color palette, but contain different subjects, abstractions, and hints of Arabic calligraphy.

Housing Project is a studio proposal for a residential block in Melbourne. A concrete frame sits on a plinth over an open ground floor, and access runs outside the building: a walkway threads its full length behind perforated metal and horizontal louvres, which shade the apartments and screen the people using them. The site axonometric cuts the block open against the street it joins, setting the new frame beside the arched brick and pitched roofs already there.
