How did you and Killy end up working together?
I got in touch with the manager of a photographer whose work I really love. I showed her a couple of my covers and was invited to make the cover for Killy. Honestly, working with her is a dream collaboration for me. Special thanks to dorrysorrow for the help with the scan.
What did you want someone to feel when they see the cover?
There was no hidden idea behind it. I just wanted it to be visually strong work, and I think we managed that.
How much of it was your idea and how much was the artist’s?
The idea belonged entirely to the artist. I just did it my own way.
What’s your favourite album cover of all time?
Venerology by Merzbow.
